Hello and Welcom to my Blog

Hello everybody all and thank you for visiting my blog where I'll be sharing comments on my love of close up magic, what's going on in my everyday performing life and much, much more.

I've been performing close up magic now for most of my life, but only decided to go fully professional and make a living from it in the year 2000.

I love the idea of close up magic because you really get to interact and 'play' with the audience, when I perform I find myself feeding off the energy of those who watch, the more they laugh and gasp, the more that really inspires me to push further and advance my art. Making people laugh, scream and truly enjoy themselves is an amazing feeling and I believe, one of the biggest 'highs' you can have.

During my career, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world, I've performed magic to all races and religions, young and old, some never having seen a single magic trick in their lives. To me it's not a job, it's a passion. A life long ambition to entertain and make people happy!

They say that variety is the spice of life, well my magic performances have taken me from sheds and barns to Buckingham Palace and the House of Lords, from tiny shops and supermarkets to the worlds largest shopping mall from the world's most exclusive hotel to local bars, restaurants and family homes. I've performed on ships, trains, aeroplanes, in dungeons, engine rooms, deserts safaris, jungles and even done some magic underwater! What a great way to make a living. I'm certainly one lucky magician.

The good thing is, after all these years, I still believe that I haven't even scraped the surface of what i'm capable of. I have so many ideas and plans for the future, that I don't think I will ever have time to accomplish them all. But I'm certainly going to give it my best shot. So keep an eye out, things are going to get interesting around here!!

So come and visit my blog often and find out what adventures I'm up to and whom I'm performing for and please feel free to leave your comments.  I'd love the hear from you and promise to do my very best to respond to each and every one.

Regards

David
